My Background

I am Abigael Walton-Mowbray, the creator and therapist at Changing Leaves Play Therapy (Nottingham), I offer therapeutic support for many different issues as well as specialising in trauma and attachment issues through the use of Play and Creative Arts. For the last 15 years, I have been working in education settings supporting children with their emotional and behavioural needs with various interventions.  I gained my play therapy post-graduate diploma from Leeds Beckett University in 2020. I am continually taking up professional development opportunities, specialising in Attachment, and Trauma.

I want all children to feel they are supported, to not feel like they have to face difficult times on their own. Knowing that I can help parents feel confident to support their children motivates me to connect with families for a better future.

Please find out more about Play Therapy and what I can offer on my About page.
